Barn

The first floor is going up. Size is 30' x 40'. First floor is 12' high with a 2' high truss floor on top.

Starting Build

The concrete slab is a 20" monolithic poor with rebar and 3000 psi glass fiber.

The Slab

The walls are constructed with 2" x 6" lumber to give plenty of room for future insulation.

Coating

The main structure is done. The barn is finished with Hardi-Plank concrete siding and a shingle roof that will match the main house.

Done

The top of the barn has a tongue and groove floor rated at 100 psi. Height is 15' at the center. A pair of windows are in each end.

Here's a shot of Will walking down the stairs. They are very heavy duty and extra wide. A landing wraps around the corner.
